چکیده

It has been recently shown that the Bethe-Larkin formula for the energy losses of fast heavy-ion projectiles in dense hydrogen plasmas is corrected by the electron-ion correlations [Phys. Rev. Lett. 101, 075002 (2008)]. We report numerical estimates of this correction based on the values of gei(0) obtained by numerical simulations in [Phys. Rev. E 61, 3470 (2000)]. We also extend this result to the case of projectiles with dicluster charge distribution. We show that the experimental visibility of the electron-ion correlation correction is enhanced in the case of dicluster projectiles with randomly orientated charge centers. Although we consider here the hydrogen plasmas to make the effect physically more clear, the generalization to multispecies plasmas is straightforward. ترابرد نوترون، الکترون و فوتون در ساچمه‌های ICF در حالت اشتعال جرقه‌ای و اشتعال سریع

Fusion energy due to inertial confinement has progressed in the last few decades. In order to increase energy efficiency in this method various designs have been presented. The standard scheme for direct ignition and fast ignition fuel targets are considered. Neutrons, electrons and photons transport in targets containing different combinations of Li and Be are calculated in both direct and fas...

Advanced X-ray Diagnostics for Large Scale Dense Plasmas

Future GSI-experiments with intense heavy ion beams and the kilo-joule PHELIX-laser necessarily deal with large scale dense plasma objects. These plasmas might be either created by lasers to serve as a target for advanced studies of heavy ion beams interacting with matter or as intense back-lighter sources or may be created by intense heavy ion beams for, e.g., studies of strongly coupled plasm...

Ion Stopping in Dense Plasma Target for High Energy Density Physics

The basic physics of nonrelativistic and electromagnetic ion stopping in hot and ionized plasma targets is thoroughly updated. Corresponding projectile-target interactions involve enhanced projectile ionization and coupling with target free electrons leading to significantly larger energy losses in hot targets when contrasted to their cold homologues. Standard stoppping formalism is framed arou...

Correlation effects on the temperature-relaxation rates in dense plasmas.

We present a model for the rate of temperature relaxation between electrons and ions in plasmas. The model includes self-consistently the effects of particle screening, electron degeneracy, and correlations between electrons and ions. We successfully validate the model over a wide range of plasma coupling against molecular-dynamics simulations of classical plasmas of like-charged electrons and ...
